Stating that the National Participation event was a success, Ömer Duyar, a Member of the Board of Directors of ISIB, added: “As Senegal has become an oil exporting country in recent years, the country’s overall economic and commercial trajectory is moving in a positive direction. Construction and infrastructure works continue in various parts of the country. We witness that Turkish companies also come to the forefront of the important projects carried out here. Due to the high quality and high level of these projects, we have observed that there is a high level of positive perspective towards Turkish businesspeople and Turkey. During the exhibition, we held qualified and productive meetings in terms of introducing our sector and our products both with the authorities of our participating companies and in our meetings. We are confident that our existing exports will increase with the cooperation we have established.
In addition, we see the fact that Senegal is a center for 8 countries within the scope of the African Union for our sector and the commercial perspective and interest of our Ambassador Ms. Hatice Nur Sağman, and our Commercial Counsellor Mr. Salih Zeki Erdal as a great advantage for the development and growth of our sector in the country. The Senegal-Turkey Business Council also provides strong support for the development of our commercial relations. We are planning to organize a Trade Delegation organization for the country in the coming period. As ISIB, we are proud to support our exporters in every field from marketing to communication.”
