Turkish HVAC-R Exporters’ Association (İSİB) organized a Sectoral Trade Delegation to Jakarta, Indonesia, from 22 to 25 September 2026 to strengthen the Turkish HVAC-R sector’s presence in international markets and support the establishment of new business connections. The delegation brought together 12 Turkish companies operating in the HVAC-R sector. As part of the program, bilateral business meetings were held on 24 September at Hotel Indonesia Kempinski, with the participation of 35 Indonesian companies. A total of 122 B2B meetings were conducted throughout the day, and Turkish companies indicated that 34 of these meetings were expected to yield positive results. Prof. Dr. Talip Küçükcan, Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to Indonesia, and Commercial Counsellors Esra Eruysal Uygur and Emrah Ersoy also attended the event and met with company representatives.
During the delegation, meetings were also held with representatives of PERPRINDO, ACE DKI Jakarta and KADIN DKI Jakarta, key organizations in Indonesia’s HVAC-R sector, to explore opportunities for cooperation and strengthen bilateral trade relations. Having imported more than USD 9 billion worth of HVAC-R products in 2025, Indonesia represents significant market potential for Turkish companies. Türkiye’s HVAC-R exports to Indonesia reached USD 16.6 million in the same year. The delegation organized by İSİB provided Turkish companies with an opportunity to gain first-hand insights into the Indonesian market, establish direct contact with potential business partners and lay the groundwork for developing long-term commercial relationships.
