HVAC-R Exporters Association ( ISIB) participated in the Aquatherm Nitra Exhibition held in Nitra, Slovakia between February 7-10 with an Info Stand. The 22nd annual exhibition was attended by Zeki Özen, Member of the Board of Directors on behalf of ISIB.
Visited by 17,000 people, 182 participants from 7 countries attended the exhibition this year. Other than ISIB, 2 Turkish companies participated in the exhibition from Turkey.
Nihan Odabaşı Şansever, Trade Counselor of the Republic of Turkey in Bratislava, visited the ISIB booth at Aquatherm Nitra Exhibition and informed about the Slovak economy and the trade culture of the country. Şansever also visited the Turkish exhibitors and informed them about the country and state support.
A meeting was held with Malek Malina, Secretary of The Association of Construction Entrepreneurs of Slovakia, Andrej Hrdlicka, Secretary General of APPLIA Slovakia Association of Manufacturers of Household Appliances, and Prof. Dusan Petras, Board Member of The Association of Slovak Scientific and Technical Societies (ZSVTS) and European Federation of National Engineering Associations at ISIB booth. Association and institution officials were informed about the product search portal “members.isib.org.tr” and exchanged information on cooperation for the ISK SODEX Buyers mission event to be held in October.
In his statement regarding the participation in the exhibition, Zeki Özen, Member of the Board of Directors of ISIB, expressed that as ISIB, they are working to further increase the relations between countries and sectors and to further increase the export targets of the sector with their marketing, sales, and communication activities in all countries, and added: “Although Germany-based companies dominate the HVAC&R market in Slovakia, we have shown an export growth of approximately 50 percent as Turkey in the past years. Hence, we participated in Aquatherm Nitra Exhibition as ISIB and hosted important negotiations and trade cooperation meetings at our booth. We have successfully completed the promotional activities they organized during the exhibition.”
