HVAC&R Exporters Association (ISIB) participated in the ASHRAE CRC 14th Regional Conference held in Madrid, Spain, on September 9-10 as the platinum sponsor.
Zeki Poyraz, Vice Chairman of the Executive Board, O. Murat Erenoğlu, Member of the Executive Board, and Ahmet H. Gökşin, Member of the Supervisory Board and Chairman of the ASHRAE Turkish Chapter, participated in the event, which was held with the theme of creating the global vision of the HVAC-R sector to meet the 2030 and 2050 decarbonization targets, on behalf of ISIB.
Within the scope of the event, which was initiated by Teresa Riesko, Secretary General of the Innovation unit of the Spanish government, technical seminars and many business meetings were held, especially the Industry Round Table meeting. The closing dinner of the event was held with the participation of Farooq Mehboob, President of ASHRAE.
In the event, which was also visited by Nazlı Seza Onat, Madrid Commercial Counsellor of the Republic of Turkey, information was exchanged on the HVAC-R sector in Spain, and information was obtained from her on the effective use of marketing and promotional activities.
Zeki Poyraz, Vice Chairman of the Executive Board, who states that the ASHRAE CRC 14th Regional Conference is the most important meeting in the region, stated that they represent the Turkish HVAC-R sector in the best manner at the business meetings and Industry Round Table meeting and said:
“As ISIB, we act with the vision of bringing the exports of our sector to the highest level with our promotion and marketing activities all over the world. The ASHRAE CRC 14th Regional Conference is also an important part of this vision for Spain and its territory. I think we had a good promotion on both face-to-face and digital platforms as the platinum sponsor of the conference. In order to develop our sector and increase its exports, I and our Members of the Executive Board exchanged information with our foreign counterparts and shared the information they needed in the sector. We also held a meeting with the participation of Farooq Mehboob, President of ASHRAE, before the conference, and discussed the preparatory studies of RAL CRC Istanbul, one of the most important global meetings of ASHRAE, which will be held in Istanbul on October 9-14. We disclosed to the President that we are glad to host RAL CRC Istanbul, which will be one of the most prestigious events of the HVAC-R sector.”
