Apart from the exhibition, we got together with Ali Rıza Akıncı, Republic of Türkiye Consul General to Almaty, our commercial attaches, consulate general personnel, representatives of the Kazakh-Turkish business people’s association, and business people at the dinner held on 8 September. Views were exchanged on increasing trade with Almaty and Kazakhstan on the dinner, and economic condition between the two countries was evaluated and issues to be considered while doing business were pointed out.
ISIB Board Member Zeki Özen, expressing that they attended the Aquatherm Tashkent Exhibition for the first time and they were satisfied with the visitor profile in general, said: “Kazakhstan which imports approximately 1,8 billion dollars in the HVAC-R sector annually, is a critical market for Türkiye. Turkish HVAC-R Sector is now in 6th place in the HVAC-R sector in Kazakhstan and meets 3 percent of its imports. We wish to raise our market share to approximately 7-8 percent in Kazakhstan for the medium term. We believe that, with the marketing, communication and training activities we carried out, the relations between the countries and sectors will improve and we will increase our export targets. As ISIB, we are proud to support our exporters in any field.”
