TURKISH HVAC-R INDUSTRY RISES IN ASIAN MARKETS

As the Turkish HVAC-R Exporters Association (ISIB), we organized a sectoral trade delegation to Vietnam and Indonesia between April 20–26, 2025, with the aim of increasing our sector’s share in international markets and fostering new business partnerships.

As part of this delegation, we held B2B meetings in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, and Jakarta, Indonesia, together with 11 esteemed member companies. The primary goal of this organization was to enhance the export capabilities of our firms, establish new business connections in these two strategic markets, and build sustainable relationships with local business communities.

The B2B meetings were held at the New Saigon World Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City on April 21 and at the Hotel Indonesia Kempinski in Jakarta on April 24. A total of 78 local companies participated in the meetings, and over 200 one-on-one business meetings were successfully conducted.

Our delegation was led by Mr. Ömer Duyar, Member of ISIB’s Board of Directors. During our Jakarta program on April 24, we were also accompanied by Mr. Reşat Uğur Karacan, Deputy Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye in Jakarta, as well as our Commercial Counsellors Mr. Burak Avcı and Ms. Esra Eruysal Uygur. In his opening speech, Mr. Karacan expressed his appreciation to our companies for their contributions to the Turkish economy and extended his best wishes for their continued success.

Our Commercial Counsellors also provided in-depth briefings to the participating companies on the Indonesian market, sharing insights on local business practices, sectoral expectations, and key considerations—valuable guidance that proved highly beneficial for our delegation members.

Considering the dynamic economies of Vietnam and Indonesia and their rapidly developing construction and industrial infrastructure, we firmly believe these two markets offer significant opportunities for our sector. We foresee that the business meetings held during the delegation will positively contribute to the export performance of our companies.

As ISIB, we remain committed to organizing sectoral trade delegations to target markets in the coming period and to further strengthening the global presence of the Turkish HVAC-R industry.
