İSİB organized the national participation organization for the Erbil Build Expo Fair, the largest construction fair in the Middle East, arranged between May 21-24. Iraqi sector ambassadors showed great interest in the organization where eight companies from Turkey participated. 20 thousand people visited Erbil Build Expo, where 408 exhibitors came together, during the fair. Within the scope of the event, which largely responded to all expectations related to the sector, important contacts were made for new commercial relations between the two countries.
Serving as the gateway to the Middle East and Gulf markets, the exhibition hosted a large number of representatives from other countries in the region, discussing the latest industry innovations and trends. The national participation organization within the scope of the fair that brings together a wide geography, provided a unique platform for networking and business opportunities as private companies, high-level buyers and government and state institutions came together at the fair.
On the first day of the fair, Deputy Consul General of Erbil Erman Topçu and Commercial Attaché Kemal Bahadır visited İSİB booth and the booths of the participating companies from Turkey and gave information about the Iraqi market and trade relations. In the meetings, it was stated that the national participation organization facilitates the connections between participants and buyers, paving the way for productive collaborations and commercial growth.
