Turkish HVAC-R Exporters Association (ISIB), the global business partner of the Turkish HVAC-R Sector, organized a National Participation organization at the Boilers and Burners exhibition held in the city of Peterburg between October 31 and November 3.
10 Turkish companies, which are members of ISIB, participated in the National Participation organization at Boilers and Burners exhibition, which contributes to the modernization of boiler equipment for the housing and public services sector and the implementation of up-to-date technology in energy producing facilities and organizations in the region and helps to establish business connections. In addition, 1 Turkish company participated in the exhibition individually. ISIB booth was actively used by the participants from Turkey and was a place to hold meetings and discussions.
Kerem Ünlü, a Member of the Board of Directors, participated in the National Participation organization on behalf of ISIB.
At the exhibition held concurrently with the 12th St. Petersburg International Gas Forum, Dr. Alparslan Bayraktar, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of the Republic of Turkey, and Özgün Talu, Consul General of the Republic of Turkey in St. Petersburg, visited ISIB booth and participant company booths and received information from ISIB management and officials. Around 10,000 visitors were hosted at the exhibition with more than 300 exhibitors.
On the last day of the exhibition, Eren Öztan, Commercial Attaché of the Republic of Turkey to St. Petersburg, and Kerem Ünlü, Member of the Board of Directors of ISIB, visited the St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry. During the meeting with Ekaterina Lebedeva, the Vice President of the St Petersburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry, economic and commercial relations between Türkiye and Russia were discussed, and consultations were held for future cooperation between the two organizations.
Stating that the National Participation organization held at the Boilers and Burners exhibition in Russia was a success, Kerem Ünlü, Member of the Board of Directors of ISIB, said the following about the exhibition: “Boilers and Burners exhibition may seem to be mainly a boiler and boiler equipment exhibition, but it also hosts the St. Petersburg International Gas Forum, which is held concurrently. This organization attracts wide international attention and increases the efficiency of the exhibition. We were delighted that Dr. Alparslan Bayraktar, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of the Republic of Turkey, visited the booths of ISIB and our exhibitors after his visit to the St. Petersburg International Gas Forum. We expressed our gratitude to him.
Last year, as ISIB, we organized a National Participation organization for this exhibition, and we decided to organize it this year because it was successful. I believe that the exhibition was successful for both us and our participants. The Russian market holds many strategic opportunities for us. Our main goal is to take advantage of these opportunities and increase our export figures. Russia has become the second largest market of the Turkish HVAC-R Sector in terms of exports. However, we can get more share from the market as a percentage. In this context, as ISIB, we will increase our activities for the Russian market. We will continue to stand by our exporters and work with all our strength to increase their commercial relations.”
