The Turkish HVAC-R Exporters Association (ISIB) held a Sectoral Trade Delegation organization in Poland between June 13-15 with the participation of Turkish exporters. Ali Aktaş, Member of the Board of Directors, participated in the organization on behalf of ISIB.

On June 14, 20 companies from Türkiye and 39 companies from Poland participated in the bilateral meetings held in Warsaw, the capital of Poland, and a total of 153 job interviews were held.

During the meetings, Cengiz Kamil Fırat, Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey in Warsaw, and Trade Counsellors Betül Buke Karaçin and Nevra Genç participated in the delegation organization and had a conversation with the participating companies. A dinner event was organized in the evening of the same day with the participation of the delegation participants and Betül Buke Karaçin and Nevra Genç, Trade Counsellors of the Republic of Turkey in Warsaw.

ISIB officials also held two separate meetings within the scope of the organization. In the first meeting, the ISIB delegation met with Robert Grejcz, President of the National Refrigeration Forum (NFR), and discussed areas of cooperation within the scope of the Polish market. At the end of the meeting, he and his affiliated members were invited to the ISK-SODEX Buyer’s Mission organization to be held in the last quarter of this year. In the second meeting, the officials of the Polish-Turkish Businessmen’s Association visited the delegation and informed them.

Expressing that the sectoral trade delegation organization held in Poland was highly productive, Ali Aktaş, Member of the Board of Directors of ISIB, stated: “Poland is the 12th country in the World HVAC-R Sector that imports the most sector with 13 billion dollars in 2022. The Turkish HVAC-R Sector exported $223 million to Poland in 2022 as well. Poland is the 9th country to which Turkey exports the highest number of products. The geographical location of Poland and the fact that it is in the Customs Union makes it a strategic market for our sector. Thus, we have held a trade delegation organization in order to increase our presence in the country. We have observed that our companies participating in our organization have made numerous connections that will turn into exports in these meetings. We believe that with the marketing, communication, and training activities we have carried out, relations between countries and sectors will reach even higher levels and we will further increase our export targets. “
