HVAC-R Exporters Association (ISIB) participated in ISH Frankfurt 2023, the world’s largest infrastructure, building, energy, air conditioning technology and renewable energy exhibition, held in Frankfurt, Germany between 13-17 March, with two info booths of 65 m2 in total.
128 companies from the Turkish HVAC-R Sector participated in the exhibition, which includes more than 2,500 international participants in an area of approximately 260 thousand square meters, visited by producers, retailers and managers and officials from innovation-owning companies.
Mehmet Şanal, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Zeki Poyraz, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, Ali Aktaş, and Ömer Duyar, Board Members participated in the exhibition on behalf of ISIB .
On March 13 and March 16, Erdem Tunçer, Consul General of the Republic of Turkey in Frankfurt, and Yusuf Yerkel, Commercial Attaché of the Republic of Turkey, visited the booths of ISIB and Turkish exhibitors and received information from the officials. During the meetings, they shared information about the trade relations between the two countries.
On March 15th, within the scope of Mostra Convegno Expocomfort (MCE) 2024 Exhibition, a meeting was held with Reed Exhibition Italy Director Massimiliano Pierini, International Sales Manager Barbara Mauri and Italian Chamber of Commerce Secretary General Fatih Ayçin at ISIB booth. During the meeting, agenda items for next year’s MCE 2024 Exhibition were discussed. On June 6, a launch meeting regarding next year’s plans will be held at the Italian Embassy.
Stating that there is a great interest of plumbers and industrial, system planners and engineers, wholesalers and retailers, architects, interior designers, designers, construction and residential sector investors, Mehmet Şanal, Chairman of the Board of Directors of ISIB said the following about the exhibition: “The German market is one of the most important markets for Turkey and our sector with its total size of 3 trillion dollars and the size of the HVAC-R sector of 120 billion dollars. ISH Frankfurt 2023 is one of the two most important exhibitions in the world for the Turkish HVAC-R Sector. The very valuable companies of our sector held very intensive B2B meetings at the ISIB booth, which we created with the concept of “Our Booth is Your Booth”. In parallel with the changes in heat systems at the exhibition, heat pump systems came to the forefront. Several companies’ solutions for heat pumps received intense attention from exhibitors at the exhibition. However, many new products and equipment were also included in the fresh air units. As ISIB, we carried out an intensive communication activity throughout the city during the exhibition. We are confident that our existing exports will increase with the negotiations made by our companies and the collaborations initiated within the scope of the exhibition.
