ISIB’s Sectoral Trade Delegation Event in Israel

HVAC-R Exporters Association ( ISIB) organized a Sectoral Trade Delegation event with the participation of Turkish exporters in Tel Aviv, Israel between February 21-23.
Cem Savcı and Zeki Özen, Members of the Board of Directors representing ISIB, participated in the two-day Sectoral Trade Delegation event.

On the first day of the event, ISIB Board Members visited Şakir Özkan Torunlar, Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Israel, in his office and discussed the commercial developments between the two countries. Erkan Salur, Trade Counselor of the Republic of Turkey in Tel Aviv, also attended the meeting.

On the 2nd day of the delegation event, 21 companies from Turkey, 71 companies from Israel, and 13 companies from Palestine participated in the B2B meetings. A total of 347 business meetings were held during the event. At the opening of the event, Erkan Salur, Commercial Counselor of the Republic of Turkey in Tel Aviv, and Cem Savcı, Member of the Board of Directors of ISIB, delivered speeches. As part of the delegation event, a meeting was also held with the officials of the Israel Chamber of Commerce.

Stating that the sectoral trade delegation event organized in Israel was quite productive, Cem Savcı, a Member of the Board of Directors of ISIB, added: “Israel and Palestine are countries of strategic importance for the Turkish HVAC-R sector. The companies participating in our event established many connections that will turn into exports in these meetings. With the marketing, communication, and training activities we have carried out, we are confident that the relations between countries and sectors will go even higher and we will further increase our export targets. We will continue to support our companies after the meetings to turn the negotiations into exports for our companies.”
