The HVAC-R Industry Exporters Association (ISIB), the largest global stakeholder of the Turkish HVAC-R Industry, elected the new Board of Management and Supervision with the ordinary elective general assembly held on April 28. After the ordinary elective general assembly held after a 4-year period, Mehmet Şanal, Chairman of the Board Üntes Isıtma Klima Soğutma San. Ve Tic. A.Ş, who was the former chairman, was re-elected unanimously.
Mehmet Şanal, ISIB Chairman of the Board, in his presentation at the general assembly, expressed that the Turkish HVAC-R Industry has reached a very good size in foreign markets in the last 4 years and said: “As the Turkish HVAC-R Industry, we are increasing our export size in a sustainable way and we contribute greatly to the growth and development of Turkey as an industry. We estimate that our industry, which finished off the year 2021 with an export size of 6.2 billion dollars, will finish off the year 2022 with a size exceeding 7 billion dollars. Our exporters carry out very serious trade activities in all geographies of the World and become active in international markets. Currently, we export HVAC-R products produced in Turkey to more than 200 countries. From marketing to sales, from communication to implementation, the Turkish HVAC-R industry is making progress efficiently and in coordination with all its stakeholders. Our biggest aim is to ensure sustainability as a sector having foreign trade surplus. In addition to European countries, we wish to increase our market share in Central Asian countries, African and South American countries that show potential and where our country does not receive the market share it deserves. In order to do this, as ISIB, the biggest supporter of our industry in global markets, we support our exporters steadfastly. Currently, the number of members of ISIB has exceeded 2,200. We build trade bridges for our members in the field of marketing and communication with the stands we offer to our exporters at the fairs we attend, trade delegation organizations, purchasing delegation organizations, national participation organizations.
Moreover, advertising and marketing activities in the digital media, of which importance has been realized once again after the pandemic period, are high on our agenda. As ISIB, we continue to introduce comprehensively the Product Search Engine, that we have established, worldwide. We are actively making advertising activities on Youtube and other digital media. In the meantime, we continue to provide services with our Foreign Trade Intelligence Center, which will meet the needs of our member companies.”
