Turkish HVAC&R Exporters’ Association (İSİB) organized a digital trade delegation visit to Vietnam on 3-6 August 2021. 153 meetings took place as part of the organization, where 13 Turkish and 59 foreign companies attended.
The digital trade delegation visit to Vietnam started off with an information meeting on 2 August 2021 with the participation of Mr. Burak Cihan Ürkmez, Vice Counsellor of Commerce of Republic of Turkey Embassy in Hanoi, Mr. Metin Duruk, Vice President of İSİB Board of Directors, Mr. Ali Aktaş, Member of İSİB Board of Directors, and representatives of participating companies.
Turkish companies held a total of 153 business meetings on Zoom with representatives of 59 HVAC&R companies that are active in the importing, construction and contracting, and consultancy services.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Metin Duruk, Vice President of İSİB Board of Directors and Head of the Delegation, underlined Vietnam’s recent rise in the world markets in terms of exports and imports and the great potential Turkish companies has in the country. Mr. Duruk also made the following remarks, “Turkish companies exported a USD 16 million worth of HVAC&R products to Vietnam last year. We have achieved a significant development and growth in Vietnam. Strengthening our position in Vietnam and increasing our exports are our primary targets as the Turkish HVAC&R Sector. As part of the digital trade delegation visit, we held meetings in perfect accord with the country’s cultural and commercial values. Our post-event surveys indicate that our companies have established strong ties which will be translated into commercial relations in the future. İSİB will continue its activities and organizations in full swing to increase our share in Vietnam’s HVAC&R imports.”
