ISIB’s National Participation Organization to the 7th Egypt HVAC-R Expo Exhibition

HVAC-R Exporters Association ( ISIB) organized the national participation organization for the 7th Egypt HVAC-R Expo Exhibition held in Cairo, the capital of Egypt, between May 17-19.

Sixteen companies from Turkey participated in the National Participation organization along with ISIB, while 4 ISIB member companies participated through their distributors. Zeki Poyraz, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, and Cem Savcı, Member of the Board of Directors, participated in the exhibition on behalf of the HVAC-R Exporters Association.

Officially inaugurated by Dr. Eng. Mohamed Shaker El-Marqabi, Egyptian Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy; the exhibition was attended by 149 international exhibitors from 9 countries in the fields of heating, cooling, ventilation, and renewable energy.

During the exhibition, Mr. Atilla Yenigün, Deputy Commercial Counselor of the Republic of Turkey in Cairo, visited ISIB and national participation booths and met with company officials.

Stating that the National Participation organization was quite productive, Zeki Poyraz, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of ISIB, made the following remarks about the exhibition: “We successfully completed the exhibition in which we organized a national participation organization with the vision of establishing a network between our exporters and existing and potential customers in the Egyptian and Middle East HVAC-R market. We participated in the exhibition with 16 companies. All of the companies we participated with were extremely satisfied with the exhibition. As ISIB, we improved the image of both Turkey and Turkish companies with the advertising activities we conducted inside and outside the exhibition area.
The Turkish HVAC-R sector ranks 4th with a share of approximately 8 percent of Egypt’s imports. Egyptian engineers, contractors, and vendors have shown great interest in our products. They consider Turkish products to be European level product range. There is a profoundly high investment drive in Egypt in all sectors. In addition, one of the biggest advantages of Turkey is that it has a free trade agreement with Egypt. We export our goods duty-free. As ISIB, we were pleased to welcome the companies of our sector at our booth during the exhibition and to host their meetings.”
