The Turkish HVAC-R Exporters Association (ISIB) organized a Training and Sectoral Trade Delegation in Moscow, Russia, between April 6 and 7.
Kerem Ünlü, Member of the Board of Directors of ISIB, representing the Board of Directors of ISIB, Ahmet Cevat Akkaya, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of KBSB, representing the Boiler and Pressure Vessel Manufacturers Association (KBSB) and ISIB officials participated in the organization of the Training and Sectoral Trade Committee.
Within the scope of the organization of the Training and Sectoral Trade Delegation attended by 16 companies from Turkey, a joint study was carried out with the Russian Association of Engineers for Heating, Ventilation, Air-Conditioning, Heat Supply and Building Thermal Physics (ABOK). A total of 40 job interviews were held by Russia at the event, which consisted of 47 participants.
The Russian Education and Sectoral Trade Delegation program started on Thursday, April 6 with the speeches of Iurii Tabubshchikov, President of ABOK, and Kerem Ünlü, Member of the Board of Directors of ISIB. On Thursday, April 6, there were presentations on Heating and on Friday, April 7, there were presentations on Ventilation. Bilateral business meetings were held simultaneously with the presentations on April 6-7.
On Thursday, April 6, Omer Kerman, Trade Counselor of the Republic of Turkey, visited the event and held talks with the participating companies. On the evening of the same day, he attended the dinner given by ISIB with Turkish companies and ABOK representatives.
Kerem Ünlü, a Member of the Board of Directors of ISIB, made the following statement about the organization: “Russia is the 12th largest sector importer in the world with approximately 14 billion dollars of HVAC-R sector imports. As the Turkish HVAC-R Sector, we are one of the top 10 exporters in the sub-product groups of our sector in this country. We work closely with ABOK to increase our effectiveness in this country. With our Training and Sectoral Trade Delegation organization, we aimed to increase our trade while informing our interlocutors in Russia about the development of our sector and R&D power. We received positive feedback on the organization from 16 participating companies. As ISIB, we will continue to use the marketing, communication, and training activities we have planned strategically in the target countries for our exporters.”
