ISIB Strengthens Sectoral Collaborations in Algiers and Oran

Turkish HVAC-R Exporters’ Association (ISIB) organized a sectoral trade delegation program to Algiers and Oran, Algeria, between April 5–9, 2026, with the aim of increasing the sector’s effectiveness in international markets and creating new business opportunities.

Within the scope of the program, which hosted 19 member companies, intensive bilateral business meetings (B2B) were held with local business representatives. The main objectives of the organization included enhancing the export capacities of participating companies, expanding their commercial networks in the North African market, and establishing sustainable business partnerships.

The first leg of the program took place on April 6, 2026, at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Algiers. During the event, comprehensive and productive meetings were held between representatives of the Turkish HVAC&R sector and Algerian business professionals. The delegation was led by ISIB Board Members Mr. Zeki Özen and Mr. Okan Murat Erenoğlu. Turkish Commercial Counsellors in Algiers, Ms. Mehtap Atakan Özkan and Mr. Özgür Saman, also attended the program and provided support to the participating companies.

Following the B2B meetings, our Board Members visited H.E. Muhammet Mücahit Küçükyılmaz, Ambassador of Türkiye to Algeria

The second stop of the delegation program was Oran, held on Wednesday, April 8. Prior to the B2B meetings organized at Le Meridien Hotel, the delegation was visited by Mr. Hasan Solak, Consul General of the Republic of Türkiye in Oran.

This comprehensive organization covering both Algiers and Oran significantly contributed to Turkish companies’ ability to better understand the target market on-site, establish direct contact with potential business partners, and closely evaluate regional trade opportunities.

ISIB will continue its efforts to strengthen the global competitiveness of the Turkish HVAC&R industry by maintaining trade delegation activities in its target markets in the upcoming period.
