The Turkish HVAC-R Exporters Association (ISIB) presented awards to the companies with the highest exports in the sector in 2022 and 2023 following the Ordinary General Assembly of 2023
On April 18, the Turkish HVAC-R Exporters Association (ISIB) held its Ordinary General Assembly meeting in Ankara, continuing its efforts to bring all exporting companies in the HVAC&R sector under one roof and increase the sector’s export potential. Following the meeting, the Export Leaders Award Ceremony was held, with companies in the HVAC&R sector receiving awards in 23 different categories. ISIB Chairman Mehmet Şanal, who delivered a speech in the ceremony where companies that played a significant role in HVAC-R product exports in 2022 and 2023 and achieved the highest export figures were awarded, stated that: “We feel proud of having achieved this year’s 7.2% export goal. We aim to raise exports by 8% over this year’s amount, to $7.8 billion.”
The Ordinary General Assembly of ISIB, the global powerhouse of the Turkish HVAC sector, was held on Thursday, April 18, with widespread participation. The sector’s progress was evaluated at the General Assembly, and strategies and new goals for the future were determined. ISIB Chairman Mehmet Şanal made a presentation at the General Assembly, evaluating the HVAC-R sector, sharing recent developments, and emphasizing the goal of enhancing the sector’s growth and international competitiveness through innovative and sustainable solutions. The 2023 Top Exporters Award Ceremony, which awarded the companies with the highest export figures in the HVAC-R sector in 2022 and 2023 in various categories, was held on the same day as the Ordinary General Assembly. The ISIB Board and Audit Committee members, board members of the companies, professional managers, and sector stakeholders attended the award ceremony.
ISIB Chairman Mehmet Şanal made the following remarks during the award ceremony: “The Turkish HVAC-R sector closed the year 2023 with exports of $7.2 billion. The sector’s exports reached a record high, with an export/import coverage ratio of 90%. Our sector’s export target for 2024 is $7.8 billion. As the HVAC-R sector, we aim to account for 1.5% of global exports. I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to the sector’s top exporters for their contributions to this successful outcome. Your outstanding success is precious for the Turkish HVAC-R sector to establish a stronger global presence and rise globally. This year, as in the past years, we will continue to work determinedly to achieve even better results and maintain our sector’s successful performance.”
