ISIB’s National Participation Organization to Aquatherm Tashkent Exhibition

HVAC-R Exporters Association (ISIB) organized a national participation in the Aquatherm Tashkent Exhibition, which was held in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, on 4-6 October.

This year, the Aquatherm Tashkent Exhibition, the only industry specialized exhibition in Uzbekistan that offers the latest developments and innovations in the field of HVAC technologies, was held for the 11th time. The exhibition, which started with the opening speeches of Ozoda Jo’rayeva, Deputy Minister of Construction of Uzbekistan, and Mehmet Şanal, Chairman of the Board of Directors of ISIB, hosted more than 5000 visitors this year with 237 exhibitors consisting of national and international manufacturers, distributors, and agencies. At the exhibition, products mainly for Heating, Cooling, Ventilation and Plumbing systems were exhibited.

17 companies from Türkiye participated in the exhibition within the scope of National Participation. Apart from the national participation organization, 13 Turkish companies also participated individually. Mehmet Şanal, the Chairman of the Board of Directors, and Cem Savcı and Zeki Özen, the Members of the Board of Directors, represented ISIB at the exhibition.

Olgan Bekar, Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to Tashkent, and Suavi Önal, Chief Trade Advisor and Ahmet Melih Horata, Deputy Trade Advisor visited the exhibition and exchanged views with the participating companies.

Stating that the National Participation organization held at the Aquatherm Tashkent Exhibition was a success, ISIB Chairman Mehmet Şanal continued: “Uzbekistan is a country of strategic importance for the Turkish HVAC-R Sector. Uzbekistan, which imports approximately 1.3 billion dollars in the HVAC-R sector every year, is a very serious market for Türkiye. The Turkish HVAC-R Sector currently accounts for 16 percent of Uzbekistan’s HVAC-R sector imports. Türkiye is the second supplying country of Uzbekistan with an export volume of $214 million. 17 companies participating in our National Participation organization made many connections that would turn into exports during their meetings. With our marketing, communication, and training activities, we think that the relations between countries and sectors will increase further, and we will increase our export targets even more. As ISIB, we are proud to support our exporters in all areas.”
