HVAC-R Exporters Association ( ISIB) held a national participation organization for the Aquatherm Almaty Exhibition held in Almaty, Kazakhstan between September 6-8.
In this important exhibition with 186 exhibitors from 17 countries and more than 18 thousand visitors, 16 companies from Turkey attended the National Participation organization. Besides the National Participation organization, 4 Turkish companies also attended the exhibition with their own booths. Zeki Özen and Murat Erenoğlu, Members of the Board of Directors representing the HVAC-R Exporters Association, participated in the exhibition.
Ekrem Alper Bozkurt, Commercial Attaché of the Republic of Turkey in Almaty, visited ISIB and national participation booths during the exhibition and exchanged views with the companies about Kazakhstan trade, economy, and business culture.
Expressing that the national participation organization held within the scope of Aquatherm Almaty exhibition was a success, Zeki Özen, Member of the Board of Directors of ISIB, stated: “Kazakhstan, having approximately 2.7 billion dollars of HVAC-R sector imports every year, is a significant market for Turkey. The Turkish HVAC-R sector currently ranks 7th in Kazakhstan’s HVAC-R sector and accounts for 2.7 percent of its imports. We would like to increase our market share in Kazakhstan to 7-8 percent in the mid-term. We participated with 16 companies in the exhibition, which has expanded and developed much more in terms of exhibitors and visitors this year compared to 2022. All of the companies we participated in declared to us that the exhibition was productive. As ISIB, we were pleased to host the companies of our sector at our booth during the exhibition and to host their meetings.”
