The 2024 launch meeting of MCE – Mostra Convegno Expocomfort Exhibition, a worldwide event in the fields of air conditioning, building installation, and renewable energy, was held in Istanbul.
The launch meeting of the exhibition was held at the Venetian Palace in the Consulate General of Italy under the auspices of the Embassy of Italy with the participation of the HVAC-R Exporters Association (ISIB), the Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Association and RX Italy executives and officials.
The opening speech of Italian Ambassador Giorgio Marrapodi was followed by the speeches of Livio Manzini, President of the Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Association, and Mehmet Şanal, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the HVAC-R Exporters Association. The meeting was completed with the presentation of RX Italy General Manager Massimiliano Pierini on the Mostra Convegno Expocomfort Exhibition.
Delivering a speech at the launch meeting, Mehmet Şanal, Chairman of the Board of Directors of ISIB, stated that the exhibition is a significant milestone for the Turkish HVAC-R sector and said the following: “The mutual trade volume of our sector between Turkey and Italy is 1.2 billion dollars. This trade volume created by both countries is a response to the right policies and relations established over the years. The Mostra Convegno Expocomfort exhibition, organized every two years in Italy, is one of the most significant exhibitions in the world in the HVAC-R sector. Turkey participated in the exhibition held in 2022 under the title of the partner country. Mustafa Varank, our Minister, honored us by launching the exhibition. Turkey was the country with the highest number of foreign participants with 136 companies. We will participate in the MCE Milano 2024 Exhibition, which will serve the European Union’s next five-year goals of reducing greenhouse gas emissions, increasing the share of renewable resources in final energy consumption, and increasing energy efficiency, with all our companies and stakeholders that make up our sector. We are currently working in harmonious and strong cooperation with both our Italian counterparts and the Italian Chamber of Commerce Association.”
