In the meeting held with the association, it was agreed to ensure coordination with Turkish Associations to cooperate not only in the information exchange for the sectoral trade committees in the future, but also in the procurement committee organizations carried out by ISIB, and to mutually share experiences related to trainings carried out for the professionals in the sector within the context of current regulations.ISIB Board Member Cem Savcı, expressing that the exhibition, which is held every 3 years in the Republic of South Africa, is the biggest exhibition in terms of the HVAC-R sector in the country and region, said: “Turkey is the 17th exporting country in the Republic of South Africa, which imports in an amount of approximately 2.5 billion dollars in HVAC-R sector in 2021. The Republic of South Africa is critical for our country in terms of both its sectoral imports in large numbers and being a country directing the region politically. This country is among the targeted and privileged countries specified by our Ministry of Commerce. To raise our commercial potential and to promote our sector both in this country and in the neighboring countries, we participated in this important exhibition. By attending with Info stand, we informed the participants visiting the stand about the sector, and shared the information of manufacturers in Turkey regarding the products they were interested in thanks to the ISIB product search engine. Furthermore, as ISIB, we paid a visit to the Republic of South Africa Pretoria Embassy within the context of the exhibition. We provided information about the Turkey-South Africa HVAC-R sector to Dear Ambassador Ayşegül Kandaş and Commercial Counsellors Bengü Okur Erdoğan and İlker Eralp. We exchanged views on sectoral studies that might be carried out between the countries.”
