Turkish HVAC&R Exporters’ association (ISIB) attended the The Big 5 Fair in Dubai on 25-28 November 2019. The event is ISIB’s most recent activity aimed to increase the share of Turkish HVAC&R sector in the global commodity trade and to increase the sector’s exports on a sustainable basis.
Turkish HVAC&R Exporters’ Association (ISIB) remains committed to its objective to increase the share of Turkish HVAC&R sector in the global commodity trade and to increase the sector’s exports on a sustainable basis. ISIB attended The Big 5 Fair held on 25-28 November 2019 in Dubai with an information booth, where the catalogues of non-attending firms were also exhibited. ISIB also shared the information booth with its member companies who participated in the fair, therefore providing them with a place to hold B2B meetings.
Mr. Can Dizdar, Republic of Turkey Ambassador to Abu Dhabi, and the accompanying delegation visited ISIB’s and participating firms’ information booths on 25 November 2019 to get information about Turkish firms and their products.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Mehmet Şanal, Chairman of ISIB Board of Directors, stated that the hectic fair provided a valuable opportunity to establish significant dialogues. Underlining the prominent share of United Arab Emirates (UAE) in Turkish HVAC&R exports, Mr. Şanal stated that the sector’s export to UAE increased by 6,3% the last year. The Turkish HVAC&R sector’s imports from UAE is worth 6,4 million USD, whereas the sector’s export the country is worth 54,5 million USD, corresponding to a staggering ratio of 852%.
2500 companies from 66 countries attended the fair which attracted 66.000 visitors. The next The Big
5 Fair will be held on 23-26 February 2020 in Dubai.
