The Iraq Build Baghdad Fair, held in Baghdad, Iraq between September 8–11, 2025, witnessed strong participation from Turkish HVACR companies. Within the scope of the National Participation organized under the coordination of the Turkish HVAC-R Exporters Association (ISIB), eight Turkish companies had the opportunity to showcase their products and services to international buyers.
ISIB Board Member Mr. Okan Murat ERENOĞLU represented the Association at the fair. At the ISIB information booth, visitors were provided with insights about the sector, and numerous B2B meetings took place between Turkish companies and international participants.
On the opening day of the fair, Turkish Commercial Counsellors in Baghdad, Mr. Naci Bahadır ŞANVER and Mr. Abdullah Fatih ÇELENK, visited the ISIB stand and the booths of participating Turkish companies. During their visit, they exchanged information on the Iraqi economy, trade environment, and local business practices.
On the third day of the fair, Turkish Ambassador to Baghdad H.E. Mr. Anıl Bora İNAN also visited ISIB and the participating companies’ booths, showing strong support for the sector’s presence in Iraq.
Iraq Build Baghdad stands out as one of the key events bringing together the construction and building technologies sectors in the region. The fair featured innovative solutions in heating, cooling, ventilation, air conditioning, and plumbing systems.
Participating companies emphasized that the event significantly contributed to establishing new business contacts in the Iraqi market, enhancing brand visibility, and expanding their commercial networks.
