As the Turkish HVACR Exporters Association (ISIB), we organized a sectoral trade delegation to Mexico and Panama between September 21–27, 2025, with the aim of expanding our industry’s presence in international markets and fostering new business partnerships.
As part of the delegation, we held B2B meetings with 15 esteemed member companies in Mexico City and Panama City. The main objective of this organization was to strengthen our companies’ export capacity, establish new commercial ties in these two strategic markets, and build sustainable relationships with local business communities.
Our B2B meetings took place on September 22 at NH Collection Reforma Hotel in Mexico City and on September 26 at Renaissance Panama Hotel in Panama City. Nearly 60 local companies attended these sessions, and more than 150 bilateral business meetings were successfully held.
The delegation was led by ISIB Chairman Mr. Mehmet ŞANAL and Board Member Mr. Osman BAŞTAŞ. During the Mexico City program on September 22, we were honored by the presence of the Turkish Ambassador to Mexico, H.E. Mr. Murat Salim ESENLİ, as well as our Commercial Counsellors Mrs. Zahide KARACA ÇOBAN and Ms. Nur Pınar İNAL. Our counsellors provided participants with in-depth information about the Mexican market, including business practices, sectoral expectations, and critical considerations, which served as valuable guidance for our member companies.
In the Panama program on September 26, we were pleased to welcome the Chargé d’Affaires of the Turkish Embassy in Panama, Mr. Eren Can YÜCEL, and Commercial Counsellor Mrs. Halise Büşra ÜNSAL HÜR. Before the B2B meetings, Mrs. ÜNSAL HÜR briefed the participants on Panama’s economy and business culture, answering questions and offering key insights.
The rapid urbanization, growing residential and commercial construction projects, infrastructure investments, and rising living standards in both countries are driving strong demand for HVACR systems. Particularly, the growing interest in energy-efficient, environmentally friendly, and technologically advanced solutions creates significant opportunities for competitive Turkish products.
As ISIB, we remain committed to organizing commercial events in strategic markets and will continue our efforts with determination to further strengthen the global presence of the Turkish HVACR industry.
