Strong Business Partnerships in Tripoli: ISIB Trade Delegation in Libya

As the Turkish HVAC-R Exporters’ Association (ISIB), we organized a sectoral trade delegation program to Tripoli, Libya, between 10–13 February 2026, with the aim of enhancing our sector’s effectiveness in global markets and paving the way for new partnerships.

Within the scope of the program, bilateral business meetings (B2B) were held in Tripoli with the participation of 15 member companies. The primary objectives of the delegation were to strengthen our companies’ export capacities, expand their commercial networks in the North African market, and establish sustainable business relationships with local stakeholders.

The B2B meetings, held on 11 February 2026 at the Radisson Blu Al Mahary Hotel in Tripoli, enabled productive and comprehensive discussions between representatives of the Turkish HVAC-R industry and Libyan business professionals. The delegation was led by ISIB Chairman Mr. Mehmet Şanal, while Libya Trade Counsellor Mr. Suat Özbek also attended the program and provided valuable support to our companies.

As a result of the meetings, it was mutually acknowledged that the Libyan market—particularly within the framework of its ongoing reconstruction and investment processes—offers significant opportunities for our sector, especially in infrastructure and superstructure projects.

As ISIB, we remain committed to continuing our trade diplomacy activities in target markets and to further strengthening the international competitiveness of the Turkish HVAC-R industry.
