İSİB Benghazi Trade Delegation Establishes New Business Connections in the Libyan Market

As the Turkish HVAC&R Exporters’ Association (İSİB), we organized a sectoral trade delegation to Benghazi, Libya, between 25–28 January 2026, with the aim of increasing our sector’s share in international markets and paving the way for new business collaborations.

Within the scope of the organization, bilateral business meetings (B2B) were held in Benghazi with the participation of 17 distinguished member companies. The main objective of the delegation was to enhance the export capabilities of our companies, establish new commercial links in the North African market, and build sustainable relationships with local business communities.

On 26 January 2026, B2B meetings were successfully conducted at the Berenice Hotel in Benghazi, bringing together Turkish HVAC&R companies and Libyan business representatives. The delegation was led by Mr. Mehmet Şanal, Chairman of the Board of İSİB. As part of the program, Mr. Ahmet Faruk Yıldırım, Deputy Consul of the Republic of Türkiye in Benghazi, also accompanied the delegation and provided valuable support.

Following the meetings, a common assessment was reached that Libya’s ongoing reconstruction process presents significant opportunities for the sector, particularly in the fields of infrastructure, investment, and trade.

As İSİB, we will continue to organize trade activities in strategic markets in the coming period and will maintain our efforts with the same determination to further strengthen the position of the Turkish HVAC&R sector in international markets.
