The Saudi Arabia Trade Delegation was successfully organized between 7–11 December 2025 in Riyadh and Jeddah with the participation of 17 member companies. Within the scope of the Sectoral Trade Delegation Program, the first event took place on Monday, 8 December 2025, with B2B meetings held at the Hyatt Regency Riyadh Olaya Hotel. The meetings, conducted between 13:30 and 20:00, were also attended by Trade Counsellors Mustafa İlker Özdem and Hasan Murat Nesimioğlu, who met with the participating companies.
During the Riyadh leg of the program, a total of 76 Saudi companies took part in the meetings, and 254 bilateral business meetings were held. The second stage of the delegation continued in Jeddah. On Wednesday, 10 December 2025, bilateral business meetings were held at the Jeddah Marriott Madinah Road Hotel between 11:00 and 20:00, where Turkish companies attracted strong interest. During the meetings, Jeddah Consul General Mustafa Ünal, Jeddah Trade Attaché Oğuz Şahin, and officials from the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce visited the Turkish companies individually to receive information about their products and fields of activity. In Jeddah, 53 Saudi companies participated, and 267 B2B meetings were conducted.
According to Trade Map data, Türkiye’s total exports to Saudi Arabia amounted to USD 3.67 billion in 2024, while exports of the HVAC sector remained at USD 125.3 million. Türkiye’s share in Saudi Arabia’s HVAC sector imports was recorded at 1.21%.
In light of these figures, it was emphasized that new initiatives are of great importance to strengthen Türkiye’s presence in the Saudi Arabian market and to increase its share in sectoral imports. In particular, the strong interest of Saudi business people in sourcing exporters and products from Türkiye was considered a significant opportunity, highlighting that the trade delegation organization provided an important platform for establishing new business partnerships and expanding commercial activities.
