TURKISH HVAC&R Promotes Itself in Slovakia and the Czech Republic

Turkish HVAC&R Exporter organized a trade delegation covering both countries with a sectoral trade delegation between May 18 and 22.

Turkish HVAC&R Exporters’ Association (İSİB) organized a sectoral trade delegation to Slovakia and the Czech Republic between May 18-22, 2025. The program, which was attended by 19 Turkish companies, included bilateral business meetings with leading companies from both countries and an assessment of opportunities for sectoral cooperation.

A First in Slovakia:

İSİB organized such an event in Slovakia for the first time. The organization, which began on May 19 in Bratislava, opened with an informational presentation by Commercial Chief Counselor Ayhan Turna. Subsequently, 120 bilateral business meetings were held with the participation of 55 Slovak companies. Ali Aktaş, a member of the ISIB Board of Directors and head of the delegation, visited Turkey’s Ambassador to Bratislava, Erkan Özoral, at his office as part of the program.

The Czech Republic Leg Was a Success:

The second leg of the event began on May 21 in Prague with a presentation by Commercial Counselor Berat Demirci Cörüt. Thirty-four Czech companies participated in the meetings, and a total of 81 bilateral business meetings were held. On the last day of the program, Ali Aktaş and ISIB staff met with Prague Ambassador Metin Feyzioğlu to discuss the outcomes of the event.

Turkish HVAC&R aims to increase the visibility of the Turkish HVAC sector in international markets and establish new business partnerships through such organizations.
