The event brought together Turkish companies operating in the HVAC-R industry with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering consultants from 12 different countries. On May 13, B2B meetings were held between 54 Turkish companies and 21 foreign consultancy firms. On May 14-15, the delegation visited manufacturing facilities located in Istanbul and Kocaeli.
Participants from Bangladesh, Egypt, Ghana, Kenya, Kuwait, Lebanon, Nigeria, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, Syria, and the United Arab Emirates had the opportunity to observe the quality of Turkish HVAC-R products and services firsthand. The B2B meetings on the first day saw high attendance and led to the emergence of significant cooperation potentials between companies.
During the factory visits, the foreign delegation toured the facilities of leading Turkish manufacturers and received detailed information about production processes.
Zeki Poyraz, Vice Chairman of ISIB, shared the following remarks about the event:
“The MEP Consultant Buyer Mission Delegation is a strategic initiative to enhance the international presence of the Turkish HVAC-R industry and to establish direct contact with technical decision-makers. I am pleased to report that this year’s event was highly productive in terms of both participant diversity and business connections. The production strength, engineering infrastructure, and quality standards of Turkish companies were highly appreciated by the international consultants. We believe these engagements will soon translate into concrete business collaborations.”
Based on the feedback received from participating companies, similar initiatives are planned to be organized in other target markets in the future.
